Prayer Seminar Event
Do you wish you had a more regular prayer life? Do you want to pray more but find that you just don’t know what to say?
Since the dawn of the Church in the early centuries, Christians have achieved a daily prayer rhythm using a method that they inherited from the Jewish Traditions for prayer. This method is not limited to Catholics or Orthodox Christians but has a robust history with Protestant Christians as well. Unfortunately, this kind of praying has fallen out of practice with the contemporary Protestant Church. And this is too its detriment.
Daily is prayer is not about finding your “quiet time” but rather it is your calling, ministry, your duty, your work, and you are all called to be intercessors. Christians of previous centuries called it “the work of God”.
If you are interested in learning to pray in this way, this special seminar is for you. This seminar will include worship, videos, a prayer booklet, prayer books to purchase, live instruction and break out small group sections for practice.
It is free of charge (a free will offering will be taken) and will include a continental breakfast of bagels/coffee/tea in the morning and a lunch. See you on 6/27 at 9am in the chapel.
Prepare to have your life changed. We hope to see you there.
