Welcome to our PCI Family: The Rev. Karen Sue Hybertsen, Ph.D.
Pastor Hybertsen lives in Bayport and has been received by the Committee on Ministry of the Presbytery of Long Island. Karen was most recently the Pastor of Ridgeview Community Church in West Orange where she served for fifteen and a half years.

She has a Masters in Systematic Theology from the Graduate Theological Union in Berkley, California and a doctorate in Religion and Society from Drew University in Madison, New Jersey.

Karen is married to her husband Mark, who is a scientist at the Brookhaven National Labs. She has two adult children. Her daugher, Katherine, is a Children's Librarian in Saddle Brook, New Jersey and Her son, Peter, works for a non-profit organization in Portland, Oregon.

Karen is a quilter and enjoys walking, bird watching (which her two cats Malachi and Zechariah also enjoy), Sudoku, Tai Chi and Yoga.
